Back Track Adventures can provide a fantastic trekking experience for your Group. We present a well trekked, well researched 9 day/8 night itinerary, or, we can tailor-make an itinerary to your specific requirements.

Booking Times.
If you are considering arranging a private departure for the 2011 trekking season, you must  contact us as soon as possible to discuss the possibilities.

Private groups led by a PNG Guide.
A PNG Guide could be considered for private groups comprising experienced bushwalkers who are self reliant, properly prepared with the required fitness, gear and knowlege.  Your Guide will speak basic good English, however, it is always possible that there could be communication difficulties. Local Guides have an understanding of the Track war time history, however, there role is not to provide a war time history commentary.

Private groups led by an Australian Leader.

The minimum number required to organise a private departure with an Australian leader is 12 members
The cost is quoted on 12 paying trekkers. If the group numbers drop below 12 paying members due to cancellations before final payments are made, each remaining trekker will be surcharged according to a scale which is provided  with the private group costing.  Considerable lead in time is required in order to arrange a professional Australian Leader.

Back Track does not guarantee that any arrangements quoted in correspondence will be confirmed.

Back Track will only commence to book and confirm all arrangemets after we receive the completed Booking forms and non refundable deposits.

Group organisers should note that when announcing that you are arranging a group, many will express sincere interest in joining you. However 25 years experience in organising group travel has shown us, that due to timing, finances, work committments, changing circumstances etc, some could and will pull out. If you are a group organiser and are not absolutely certain that you have the numbers, we suggest that you consider booking into a brochured departure date of your choice and advise all those who may be interested to consider joining you. We have found that small private groups of 5, 6 up to 10 trekkers have no problems sucessfully joining scheduled Team departures.
